Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get a mammogram?
Women aged 40 and above should get annual mammograms. Those with higher risk factors may need to start earlier and may also need additional screening with MRI.
Is breast cancer hereditary?
About 5-10% of breast cancers are hereditary. If you have a family history, genetic counseling and testing for BRCA mutations may be recommended.
What is the survival rate for breast cancer?
Early-stage breast cancer has a 5-year survival rate of over 90%. Early detection through regular screening significantly improves outcomes.
